Myrtoa?

Nov 09, 2022

So I've been testing this card a lot recently.
(it's the one in the center lmao)
So I want to briefly discuss my current feelings on it.

(Here is the skill if needed: [AUTO]: When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), [Cost][Soul-Blast 1], and both you and your opponent draw a card. If your vanguard is great 3 or greater, both you and your opponent choose a card from your hands, and call them to (RC). Your opponent's Cards' [AUTO] abilities do not activate from this call)

For context, this is a promo for Bermuda Triangle that recently dropped for EN format and has been out in JP... I wanna say 3-4 months?

(EN = English format)

So let's discuss her, why am I testing her? What's her use and so on.

We are currently in a pretty rough Steam Maiden meta for V-Premium, and I will say until something changes there is probably no reason to even bother playing Bermuda Triangle in EN since most of the useful stuff is either banned or restricted and honestly Steam Maidens is just the better deck.

So why even test this?
For the future of course.
If we see any sort of hits to Steam Maidens, I actually see a world where this card with Ange can become Tier 1, high Tier 2. (under the assumption no new set has dropped or cards have been announced yet for the future of V.)

Why?
This card extends attacks and makes Ange's turn more lethal while also adding more draw power and of course multi attack. She can have a better going second turn and an insanely good going first turn.

This along with cards like Liselotte, Aqua, Seria, Nikita, and Quale, if you open the nut, you can just win the game.

And let's not forget this card can even deck opponents out.
There is a lot of also small interactions this card provides and also she lets you unbrick early (if you absolutely have to use her.)

Some added combos:
->ange skill, call myrtoa, use myrtoa, call another myrtoa, use myrtoa, call liselotte, liselotte call a unit, and just like that you bounced your whole board and recalled a whole board back out.
->ange skill, myrtoa skill into tirua to have a booster for tirua
->deck out approach, just call a ton of myrtoa's, since opponent has to draw, if they are low and deck them out.
->can extend with Pearl sisters, by using them, bouncing one, then using Myrtoa after ange's skill to recall pearl sister grade 2 out for crit pressure.
->early aggro, liselotte into myrota for extra draws and calls.

There is probably more, but it does change from deck build to deck build.

I've recently been trying to find the perfect list, and I want to thank Crow(Antonio Tutt) for giving some advice on the deck as well very recently when we tested together. I'm still not quite there yet, but for all you Bermuda players out there, that need a deck, I'd highly recommend trying this one out. Let me know your thoughts! <3

In the future I might provide some lists on here, in the mean time, check out my YouTube, I'll probably have some content about her there as well as the weeks go. (https://www.youtube.com/c/OuterOrange)

P.S. Ange please love me more, I open Tirua more than you <3.
