Burlington's Unknown

"In this area lie the remains of some of the city's earliest residents.  They resided here from the early to mid 1800's.  They are unknown because they were originally buried on private properties in the city's Old North End.  Many were unearthed during various construction projects.  Some could have been American troops stationed at the city's battery during the War of 1812.  And may have died from the smallpox epidemic that occurred during that time."
