The third thing you must do is personalize your smartphone. Begin with starting your phone, create or add your mail ID and mobile number that secures your smart phone from theft. Use your personal ID and mobile number and set up screen lock. Don't share your personal ID to any one because your smartphone have your personal data.
The last thing you should check for the updates of your smart phone. The person who delivered you most probably won't update the device. To update your security patch, removes bugs and vulnerability. To update your system go to settings>software update>check for updates> download. (Hint: Avoid connecting or joining public free WiFi anywhere instead use government supervised WiFi).
