About: I'm a Mainer obsessed with the sky and the great outdoors. I love the word 'yellow' and I'm intimidated by the color red. I'm addicted to coffee, chai, and chewing gum. I love learning about history--about people's lives and the way they've survived the hard parts. And I really like manual labor--stacking wood, shoveling snow, demo. There's deep satisfaction in watching progress happen before your eyes.

But that's not why you're here. I also like to write. By "like" I mean that nothing makes me happier than playing around with words until they are charged with emotion and imagery. I write poetry constantly. I'm currently collaborating on a collection that will be out around the holidays. I'm also writing a historical fiction novel that I can't wait to share with you.
