Sailing Anegada, BVI

Perfect Caribbean sailing to the stunningly beautiful Anegada island, in the north of the British Virgin Islands. Scooter tour around the island and wonderful drone footage of the unspoiled natural environment.

Following our exploration of Anguilla, we sail 80nm west to the British Virgin Islands and check-in at Virgin Gorda. Our 18nm day-sail up to Anegada was near perfect blue water sailing in the trade winds, arriving to turquoise coral waters.

There, we help a charter yacht which was aground, enjoy the delights of the famous Anegada BBQ lobster then tour the island by scooter, visiting every corner. This island has stunning natural beauty both on its shoreline and interior lakes. We take a lot of drone footage, including catching a glimpse of the elusive flock of Pink Flamingos.

You can really feel we are enjoying ourselves on this island. It is probably one of our all-time favorite places. We especially enjoyed Anegada Beach Club and, of course, kitesurfing over crystal clear shallow waters of the Atlantic shore. 8-12 March 2019
