Deepest of Greens

Deepest of Greens

Oct 11, 2021

Absolute serenity.

This is the primary reason for shooting and editing this shot in this way. There is something about natures green that just calming and soothing. Now combine it with shapes and lines creating a near abstract scene of intrigue and you can't but help to just get lost in it.

Capturing scenes like this makes me happy. What makes me even more happy is that I get to do this and share it with everyone. Those who are interested and those might need it alike. The world is a bit insane right now and my hope is that capturing these calm and vibrant scenes gives you all just a bit of a break seeing it.

If you know me at all, then you've probably already guessed where this shot was taken; at the Auckland Botanical Gardens. It is amazing what you can capture in the middle of the brightest most sunniest day when you understand how your camera works. If you are someone who has always wanted to get out on your own and just relax and capture images of beautiful nature, I urge you to go and do so. It is one of the most relaxing things you can do for yourself and something I didn't know I needed until I tried it. So ya know...give it...a shot...heh.

As always, if you enjoyed the shot, prints are available:
