Reach out and touch the world. Sounds like a damn cliché. But what else are you gonna do with your life? What else are these collections of events and experiences worth if you aren't able to share it with anyone?
What, we just pay bills and survive? That is a trick our DNA plays on us in order to replicate itself at the most base level. Just survive. Here, use some of this fear, this ought to get you into line and do what is necessary just to live. Not enjoying life? Hate what you have to do day to day just to live? Doesn't matter, survive at all costs.
...for what?
Excuse me. But that is an absolute get f#$%ed from my position, thanks. I will do the things that make my soul sing, burn bright and bring a light to those who might be interested or need it. Even if it causes a viewer to take pause and think about things just a bit, I will be content.
I will do things worthy of sharing, worth of a story being told and create art that gives life and color to the life of others. To bring about joy or to help those in grief. To give some substance to what could be a void of nothingness.
Yes, its a lot to live up to. And yes, I think I can accomplish this by the time I'm ready to leave this reality. But it is also about the journey to that point. What I do. Where I go. The decisions I make, will all be for this.
To reach out to the world and touch their minds in some form or another.
