My transmission blew out just before this recent string of events that affected everyone’s life and was forced to junk it for $400. I’m stuck in a catch-22 situation. If I don’t have a van, I can’t work. If I can’t work, I can’t buy a van. $7,000 covers the van, registration, smog check, a year of insurance and any mechanical attention the van may need being that I will be buying a used van and sometimes concerning issues are not obvious at the time of sale. I’ve been 2 years + without a van, I do what I can to get by, especially being that my daughters are navigating through tough times employment wise and I’ve been their safety net as they wind through the ups and downs of securing sane, stable, permanent jobs. I really won’t be depending on this for reaching my goal, I’m a pretty reserved person asking for things and to me this is a lot to ask for. Too much to ask for.
