Arrival In Senegal

Arriving in Senegal was much more emotional than I thought it would be. I've never even thought I'd step foot in Africa, much less come here on a mission such as this. As we came into port and started to see our sister ship Africa Mercy, it really hit me how big this thing is. How big our mission is and how many people we will be helping in the next few months. I deal with names on a computer all day long. Especially the names of the crew members on Africa Mercy. I now get to see them, meet them and grow with them. It's all so surreal. I will never stop saying how blessed I am to be here. Thank you to all that are helping make this happen. Thank you for the words of encouragement.
