Walk Together

I’ve been thinking a lot about umbrellas lately. There are so many different kinds of umbrellas: functional umbrellas, fun umbrellas, and pop-out umbrellas. There are spare umbrellas, umbrellas for shade, umbrellas for one, and umbrellas for sharing. There are patio umbrellas and even beach and pool umbrellas!!

And, although I definitely admit that I generally prefer to hold my own umbrella, I am grateful that we can sometimes hold them for one another. It can be nice to draw close to find protection from the weather together… even if it’s awkward and we still get a little bit wet. It’s nice to have someone to walk with, especially during the rainy seasons of life. It’s part of the reason there’s an umbrella in Soulcare MKE’s logo. It’s good to draw near and walk together.
