In today’s world it seems everyone is always in a rush , and on the move. Maybe that’s why so many of us start to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves. This leads to stress mounting up, and leaves us feeling tired and run down.

That is why the forgotten art of slowing down is so important for our wellbeing! Look for ways to slow down and reconnect with your self daily! Seriously taking 5 min to journal or sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea can do wonders for your mental health!

I have started making my morning coffee on the stove top in a espresso coffee kettle. This 3-5min process gives me time to go through my gratitude list & set intentions for the day. Then I actually sit down and enjoy my coffee while I visualize My goals. I also use this time to think about what I want.

I know people who do this with tea, brewing the tea and drinking it is a whole self care ritual!
