Well here we are... December 1st and we made it this far. What a year it has been... Sanctuary has doubled, hundreds of rescues and many successful adoptions.
All in all we have had a very successful year with 142 dogs at the sanctuary and 17 animals at homebase. 
We were able to rescue 50 dogs from death row of which 2 passed and 3 have cancer but nonetheless are extremely grateful to have saved them all from certain death.
So what's install for December?
Maintenance of our sanctuary pack is key right now. Constant love and feeding.
We are still in need of basic food supplies. Rice, fish, canned goods all available at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/StreetDogLegacy/extras
As we move from wet season into the dry season the temperature drops at night so blankets become vital especially before Christmas. Again they can be purchased from the link above.
Our hopeful cat sanctuary project has unfortunately taken a step backwards due to lack of financing. We have set a fundraiser in our wishlist to try to get the necessary funds to at least partially open at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/StreetDogLegacy/w/1440
We will be halting the project in the next 3 days (at the end of the week) till we can raise some more funds. It was our hope to be rescuing cats by Christmas... I guess we will put faith that a Christmas miracle may be possible.

Calvin will remain at the vet until his treatments are done.
We have an animal behaviorist coming to spend 2 weeks with us in January. We are excited to have her join us and to be able to help some of our dogs that have some trust issues. It will be a huge education for our team and we are excited to gain any tools that will be beneficial to improving the lives of our dogs at the sanctuary.
