...a decade(ish) later, back to using a lappie to blog.
I first purchased a MacBook laptop circa 2009, when I brought it along to my trips to Thailand and Jakarta. It was bought specifically to "celebrate" being recognised as a "blogger", and being invited to these events overseas!
I was still freelancing in the media industry then, and could afford such a luxury, to be able to indulge in such a purchase! Those were the days indeed haha...! A lot has happened since, of course, both personally and professionally ... and considering I did not purchase a single toy for all of 2020 (times are hard all around), this purchase has quite literally been the most I have committed to since 2009!
As of today March 24.2021, TOYSREVIL is (officially) up and running, having been able to procure a refurbished MacBook locally! This is able to happen right now because of YOU folks.
A sincere THANK YOU to the folks who've generously donated (including the kind souls from 2020), bought me coffee, purchased from me during this time, and for spreading the word! Your kindness and support is not taken for granted, so THANK YOU! Y'ALL ROCK!

In the coming days, I will attempt to get back in the groove of bloggery, while at the same time rebuild all that has since been lost in the now-dead-desktop, which sits silently on the desk I have been blogging from for the past few years, as I now work on the family dining table. Time for lunch soon, as I am typing this ... but this is a "good problem" to have :)
This current Crisis Mode had started in October last year, when the desktop first encountered technical problems - where with generous donations I was able to repair then what was to have been an inevitable fate (the timeline given was effectively accurate) - and adding to the current funds, able to now commit to a refurbished lappie.
Since October last year, I had been diligently backing up both my online and offline life (pictures, videos and words) ... but alas, I lapsed earlier this year, the result being me holding tight still to the now-dead-desktop, hoping to fund a recovery of data when I am able to (and not because I am a "hoarder" :p). But for the time being the focus is on "rebuilding" (as I have mentioned), and adapting to the current mode and situation, and be able to effective, moving forward...!
Quite a few things have been happening for the past week, as the world continues to turn, even when I have been on a stand-still (*which is not wholly true, as I am able to maintain my socials since). Loads of "catching up" to do!
