They welcome submissions of fiction, creative non-fiction, experimental works, play excerpts, and poetry. They publish work by women, transgender men, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, and genderqueer/gender non-conforming writers only, and accept submissions in Indigenous languages. They have a Submittable cap each month for fee-free submissions, when submissions are open.
Deadline: 5 March 2022
Length: Up to 3,500 words, up to 5 poems, 5-8 pages for play excerpts

Grain Magazine
They publish work by Canadian and international artists. They accept fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and queries for other writing (ie short plays, comics, etc). They have a Submittable cap every month during their reading period, and once this is reached, writers can wait for submissions to open again next month, or mail their submissions.

Length: Up to 6 pages for poetry; up to 3,500 words for prose

HOAX
This magazine publishes creative writing and art and all work must incorporate text in some way. Online submissions are meant to be displayed on the site, and they also accept work for the print version. They ask contributors to read their background and principles before submitting. They do not want reviews, articles, or non-fiction. Currently, they publish one piece weekly online, and biannually in print.
