What are the top three tarot cards that people fear the most? The Tower, The Devil, and Death. Today we’ll be talking about Death.
So initial thoughts? We have a skeleton dressed in black riding in on a horse with red eyes. People are fainting, people are pleading, and people are just plain terrified. As we go through life we are taught to fear death. We see it as the end. Lights out. That’s it.
But look at the child. There’s no fear, just curiosity. As young children we don’t fear death, granted we don’t really understand it as a concept until a certain age. Even as an adult we don’t have to be afraid, we can keep that curiosity. Look towards the right. There’s an arch with a bright yellow light: the next life. The new beginning. When we keep that curiosity, we’re curious about the next life, the next adventure.
When you pull the Death card, don’t take it so literal. It doesn’t mean you’re going to die, it just means that something is ending but in that ending there is a new beginning. We may fear change as humans but this next adventure is just bringing you down a new path. Keep that childhood curiosity.
