As a thanks for the gorgeous of you that buy me a coffee, I really happy to share with you guys some of my steps of this piece. ☺.
I hope you like this. The painting from step3 to the final I did it in one layer so I couldn't have more image to show you my process painting. But I painted it on Procreate, so I will edit & upload the timelapse video later .

01: You should sketch loosely, focus on the composition between things. Knowing you focus points, as here are the head of the staff & 2 pandas.
02: Look closely at you reference, sketch it out 😊. If you are not gonna keep the lines to the final or just ok with messy in the final like me, than just leave it like this is fine. It really takes time to have a clean lines.. so we just move on to the colors part. Heh☺.
03: I lay down the basic colors with a little gradient and simple shadows. Change the color of the line with the color that work well with those basic colors, set to multiply, and also change the opacity as you like.
So now we have a nice sketch ready for paint.. just medge all and create new layer to paint on the top of this.. 😂
