I’m bringing live ship tracking to the Commodore 128
Hi, I’m Ioannis, the creator of AIS4CBM, a project that brings live vessel tracking to the Commodore 128.
I enjoy exploring what classic computers can still do. AIS4CBM receives and decodes real AIS maritime data, displays vessels on maps, and turns a computer from the 1980s into a working ship tracker/Radar screen using assembly language and BASIC.
If you enjoy retro computing, maritime technology, or unusual programming projects, buying me a coffee is a way to support continued development, experimentation, and documentation.
Thank you for following the project and supporting my work. There’s still plenty for this Commodore to do!
