It’s weird.
We did an 11 hour down to do a 2 day show and drove home overnight 11 hours, rolled into town to collapse into bed at 4:30 am just this morning.
And when I woke up at 10 am, after one of the slowest shows I’ve had and definitely the single most exhausting drive I’ve ever done...I felt better than I have in months. Weirdly refreshed. I just. Got up and started drawing again.
And it was enjoyable. For the first time in what feels like a long time.
I’m glad I took the time to figure out a way to safely run my booth to the best of my ability and be able to do - something again. We’re looking into a couple hopefully closer and small events to do here in Ohio. We’ll see what happens.
I’m still super tired and because of all the crazy prep I did Mon-Thurs so I’m still taking this week off to post...maybe two more weeks.
Because I think I just need to get away from all of the pressure of sticking to a schedule and just - FOCUS on the work for a time, instead of the posting, now that I feel like I can.
What a strange feeling.
