Took a peek at what will probably be the last weekend of pure Coloradan foliage today. We woke up before dawn to make the 45 minute drive south to catch the sunrise at Seven Bridges Trail (the drive up Gold Camp Road is still a unique adventure in and of itself). I've always been a sucker for Cheyenne Canyon, but had never hiked this particular spot before.
The moderate 6 mile hike takes you right alongside North Cheyenne Creek and across the bridges it was named after. The autumn scenery is truly some of the best I've witnessed in The Springs:)
