Having recently spent a few days in Luxembourg, I embarked upon my next mini trip to Trieste in Italy. It was difficult travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic, but travel to these two places were open and the costs probably more reasonable than they should have been. Trieste was just beautiful, and sitting out on a floating pontoon on the Grand Canal having breakfast in the morning sunshine was just delightful and the perfect way to start the day. Actually, it's the best way to start any day, even more so when my breakfast had been sponsored.
