Two more trips planned for 2023

Two more trips planned for 2023

Aug 15, 2023

As Summer draws to a close, Autumn will follow with the same regularity as in previous years, along with the predictable change in the weather. So far this year, I've not been caught in the rain whilst travelling, unlike last year, an occurrence I suffered on several occasions, although it didn't spoil my enjoyment too much. With two trips planned for September,  I'm hoping that this period of dryness will continue, especially as my itinerary will be based around more outside activities.

So where am I going? For numerous reasons, I've not been able to visit the destinations that I had intended to visit this year, but perhaps next year might offer that opportunity to visit Istanbul and Greece, two countries I’ve been wanting to visit for quite a while now.

My first trip will be to the Netherlands visiting Utrecht, Arnhem,  Nijmegen, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, along with; I hope, a few other towns and cities.  Next, it's back to Spain, and a few days exploring Santiago de Compostela, Lugo and A-Coruña. I had such an enjoyable time visiting Valencia earlier in the year, and armed with my six newly learnt words of Spanish, I'm hoping to explore more of Spain's history and say 'hola' to the locals.

I’ve also reached my second big milestone on YouTube. A massive thank you to the 1000+ people who have supported me by subscribing to my channel. Now that I’ve passed the 1000 subscriber mark, I’m finally on my way to making a success of my channel and working my way towards crossing my final hurdle, which will lead to my channel being monetised. My goal is to reach this final milestone before the end of this year, which would be a huge achievement after nearly three and a half years of creating content.

My new series from Provence and Grenoble previews shortly and over the ten episodes filmed, I explore incredible Roman sites, ride an unusual cable car, travel by coach, and discover some amazing personal stories of local French people along the way and some historical discoveries also.

As always, thank you for your support, and if you have purchased a coffee for me this year, look out for a mention in one of the videos and see the tasty treats I enjoyed, not to mention the delightful locations!
