The Supreme Court Ruling Yesterday is a victory, but.....

Jun 25, 2022

Hi sisters!

I am still on vacation, but I wanted to pop in to share my thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling yesterday to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I shared this on Facebook yesterday, but I realize many of you may not be on Facebook, or may not have seen it.

I also, want to share a post written by my dear in-real-life friend Jennifer, who shares her testimony of how God brought her from brokenness to healing and wholeness following an abortion as a young adult.

Remember, our fight isn't against flesh and blood. If we take this to flesh and blood, we will become judgmental and wound the already wounded and traumatized.

We need to keep our battle in the spirit, and reach out to women who are confused, hurting, wounded and traumatized.

Now: for my Facebook post:

Dear Church, with this ruling today comes great responsibility. Now is not the time to relax and rejoice. Oh, yes, we shall rejoice that justice has won. But we must not sit back on our heels.

Violence is sure to ensue. Already, prolife clinics have experienced vandalism. Expect that to increase tremendously.

We need to pray God's protection on our Supreme Court Justices. Especially given the threats some have already experienced in recent weeks.

We need to pray for God's protection on our law enforcement who are and will be working overtime to keep peace in our streets. We need to pray protection over our pastors.

We need to pray God's protection on our prolife politicians. The enemy will not take this lying down. He will retaliate, and the church must be prepared to battle spiritually.

This is a great victory God has won, He has not yet withdrawn His hand of blessing from our nation.

This victory is a call for the church to return to her first love. To repentance and revival.

May we respond as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
