HEY THERE,

My poetry manuscript is making the rounds in the submission process. I like being honest with people about how submitting is a vulnerable process; rejection is inherently part of it. Sometimes it hurts my feelings, other times it doesn't. Depends on the day. Either way, I don't stop submitting. Remember why you write: really, at the end of the day, why do you write? Would you write if no one ever read what you wrote? Would you write if computers were obsolete but you still had pen and paper? This question keeps me grounded in the submission process...

But I get it... submitting work is vulnerable!
