Happy Monday & a very happy November to you all! There's nothing quite like starting a new month and a new week at the same time, and I am equal parts deeply exhausted and re-energized at the thought of less than two full months remaining in the Fall 2021 semester.
Last night, I sipped wine from my Witch City mug on my front porch while the neighborhood stopped by to grab candy from the bowl on the stairs.
Today, I'll pack away the Halloween décor and take a deep breath before the winter holiday season sets in.
Today also marks the first day post Blogtober, and I'm so proud that I managed to post each day in October. Normally I would be gearing up for a pretend attempt at NaNoWriMo, but I've decided not to throw my hat into that particular ring this year. I do hope to keep the writing momentum going and tap away at the first draft of my memoir, though.
All that is to say, today feels like a pause for me, as the start of a new month always does. Let's take a peek over the last week in words, shall we?
