1. Find out what is causing the issue

It is not a signal that you're a "bad writer" when you experience writer's block; this is a common experience among almost all writers. Most of us have experienced some level of writer's block, but the underlying causes are often quite different.

So ask yourself the following question to get to the main cause of the problem:

Do you feel pressurized? Do you lack confidence in your abilities? Do you just feel tired or are you running out?

The solutions to these problems are different. Understanding its root causes is the first step to overcoming writer's block.

The causes of any of these problems can't all be fixed overnight. When going through our list, you'll be able to identify which of the tips are most appropriate for you based on where your problem lies.

2. Check out which books and authors are your favorites.

What is your first inspiration for starting to write? You might be able to find something helpful in your favorite book or in an author you like. The more you return to these sources, the more likely you are to rekindle that original spark.

Prepare the list of your books you like the most and authors too, and evaluate what you like most about them. Observe what similarities they have and what is extraordinary in between them. Make thinking of all the literary devices and special writing techniques that you can implement in your work to make it more interesting and powerful. Choose the themes that are more appealing to you.

Evaluate the most interesting items you like about reading your favorite book and then next time whenever you are in a need of having motivation and inspiration go and read out these books again.

3. Make a proper routine.

Creativity is a habit. But if you choose to only write when you are creative this will demand you to get stuck in a rut so the best thing is to make a regular routine for writing. You may already be experiencing some sort of routine. Try to evaluate the time when you are able to write effectively. So if you feel productive in the mornings, wake up half an hour earlier to complete your writing task. Similarly, if you want low-pressure work then choose Sunday afternoons to write valuable products, when you have no other commitments. But be consistent. The only process to be in a solid routine is to focus on the session you have chosen. Try this and you will see your progress in 3 to 4 weeks.

4. Make time to rest

Spare your time for some other activities instead of sticking to writing. After a few days, weeks or months return back to your work with a fresh mind.

5. Jump ahead

The most valuable thing is you never stop, so keep going with writing something else. You may choose to write short articles, stories and other projects regardless of the thing they match with your writing or not. Most of your problems get resolved by just moving ahead and stopping.

6. Don't move to high-difficulty areas

Only choose to write stuff. It's not a restriction to always be at your high linguistic task. You may choose to write areas with short but inspirational words. That inspires your readers to a great extent. This may resolve writer's block problems to a great extent.

7. Pretend you are reading your work for the first time

Read your work thoroughly when you are stuck at the writer's block problem. Start from the beginning just pretending that you have never read it before. This will help you to be on the track back to work.

8. Spare your time for another activity

Leave your writing desk and spare some time for another activity.  That may be anything you may go for the laundry. Go to a park for a walk. Spending or enjoying life is the important key to having your mind full of initiative ideas and may prove to be an inspiration for good writing.

9. Give yourself a deadline

It will help to create your focus on the work when you are under pressure of your work. This will also help you to focus on the decision-making step that you are avoiding.

10. Your process should be visual

If you are not sure how to start a section or chapter and what to be added. Use initiative ideas of diagrams. When you visualize your problem this may help to go through writer's block.

11. Have some tasks that are thoroughly mundane

Cleaning, showering, and other monotonous tasks will chill up your mind to on autopilot mode. This will help to free your creative side and you may daydream about resolving your writing issues like this.

12. Freewriting

It is a good thing for any startup writer.  Just write without thinking of the grammar, structure, and spelling issues. This will save the time that you waste over the sentence making program. Just write your thoughts so you will be able to write like a professional author one day as practice makes a man perfect.

Overall, doing other task such as cleaning, reorganizing your home or going for a ride will help take your mind off writing and settle everything racing in your brain and you can get back to writing.
