Oops forgot to post yesterday. It was Mum’s birthday and we also had a little bit of a last minute trip to the doctors- but all is well! Had a really nice day together, lovely lunch and wander round a garden centre and she had so many cards. She was also given a beautiful birthday cake from one of her neighbours. So thankful to all her neighbours for everything they do for her.
Today, I made a start on my reading journal for 2023. Bit behind on starting it but it’s all going well so far. I tend to switch off and lose myself in it for hours. Still a fair few pages to set up and then I have 2 books to review. Back to work in a few days; I’m trying to stay positive but already I can feel myself getting worked up. I really hope everything comes through with this new job…
