Fresh air feeling

I wasn't planning on writing another post today, but here we are! I thought I'd just check in with you all and see how you are feeling?

I'm feeling fantastic after getting outside and going for a walk. I've really had to motivate myself for the longest time to get some fresh air and get moving. This is all understandable due to the circumstances at the moment. However, I've got a new sense of focus to look after myself, as well as getting fit and healthy again.

I don't know about you, but once I've been out for a walk, I feel as though I've achieved something. I've broken the lull and routine of sitting in the room all day at the laptop. It also allows me to take a little time away from any screens and to re-calibrate my thoughts.

Going for a walk has actually been a huge thing for me; my anxiety has been at an all-time high which has made going outside (even if for a short walk) nearly an impossible task. So, when I do get my trainers on and walk for ages and ages; I know that I feel good about myself.

As the days start to get brighter and warmer; I know that this has a vital impact on my mood. I'm much more tempted to get moving, eat a variety of exciting foods, and work out when the weather isn't a pour down of rain.

So, if you can, and you're happy to; I'd hugely recommend getting some fresh air. Even if that's a small move of opening the window and taking time away from the screen, popping into the garden, or walking around your local neighbourhood.
