If you're anything like me, you'll love the idea of late nights in the garden with cocktails and a BBQ. There's something special about being able to spend more and more time outdoors as we draw closer to Summer. This is definitely a huge privilege in the UK, as the weather is so topsy turvy most of the year! So Summer is the time to soak up the sun and make the most of it. When we get it that is!
There are so many things that I'm looking forward to in the Summertime. From the warm Summer breeze to enjoying fruit salads and gorgeous nibbles. For me, Summer is all about time spent together, outdoors, and with plenty of fresh yumminess to eat!
It's also a time for wonderful fashion. I love wearing lightweight dresses and going for romantic picnics! As the weather gets brighter, so do I! I feel so much more alive and excitable in the Summer. There feels like more time, more to celebrate, and any excuse to get out and about. When the weather is dreary, it can be more tempting to snuggle up under the duvet and have a lazy day. As much as I adore a lazy day, I'd much rather be out and about getting inspiration from the outdoors.
The Summertime inspires me in so many ways. Whether it's from a creative standpoint with painting, photography, or taking colours from nature into my wardrobe. Or because everything feels so fresh and inviting!
