I am Gerald Drißner (Drissner). I am addicted to Arabic. I write about fascinating and interesting stuff that is related to Arabic.
I am an award-winning journalist and economist who was born in 1977 and grew up in a mountain area in the Austrian Alps where modern skiing was invented.
Later in my life, I moved to the Middle East and North Africa and lived there for more than a decade. It was there where I found my passion and became addicted: to Arabic.
Arabic for Nerds is a pure project of passion.
I am working hard to provide valuable content on my blog, all provided completely free of charge. Why? Because I don't believe in paywalls - money, your parents, or the place where your were born should never decide about a person's capability.
If you like my content, please consider buying me a coffee - I would be very happy about it and appreciate it.
