Hello and thank you for visiting my page! 

I'm Zofia, a classical archaeologist and the artist behind ArchaeoArtist.

Since 2015, I have been creating social media outreach about the archaeological work and travels I have been on, and now I am branching out into podcasting, graphic novellas and other creative projects about ancient history while working on my PhD. I have collaboratively curated exhibits in Canada, and most recently, at the Museum of Classical Archaeology in Cambridge University which featured my art works and public engagement project at Roman Aeclanum.

My work in museums and as an archaeolgical outreach coordinator in Italy for several seasons have inspired me to continue the lessons I've learned through these experiences into online engagement. Through my website, ArchaeoArtist, I share my passion for communicating ancient history through art, blogging, creating educational materials. Recently, my colleague Liam and I launched the podcast, Two Friends Talk History, which has it's own Patreon page here.

Upcoming projects will be explored behind-the-scenes on this Patreon: you will get access to advanced posts, sotryboarding and art development with historical-themed graphic novella projects and other projects meant to inspire and excite people about ancient history.
