The last time this comet passed by, it was peeking over the shoulders of Paleolithic artists working on their earliest cave paintings. Some scholars believe that the first organic compounds were sprinkled over Earth’s primordial oceans by visiting comets; if so, it’s kinda cool that they check back on the progress every now and then. 😏
