Daily backpacking vlogs – raw, honest, and unpolished
I’m Stu – a 56-year-old ex-British Army bloke turned full-time budget backpacker and daily vlogger. I travel the world on a shoestring, sharing raw, unscripted videos from the places most tourists skip.
My videos show the real side of travel — the good, the grim, and the garlic (yes, I have a thing about garlic).
Buy Me a Coffee helps me stay on the road: it covers beds, SIM cards, and fuel for the chaos.
If you’ve ever wondered what real travel is like — no tours, no fluff — you’re in the right place.

What started as two small wounds on my shin slowly turned into something that looked more “Walking Dead” than ?...

Anyone can pick up an injury, but when you’re solo backpacking through off-the-beaten-track parts of Thailand — and you're someone who gets bored easily — it's a proper nightmare. A week ago, I had a fall in Buriram. Just a small stumble at the time, but it left me with banged-up ankles. Since then, they’ve gone from “just sore” to infected — thanks, tropical humidity. I’ve debated...
