My name's Alexa, and I've always loved books, and while I like to read, I spent more time writing my own stories than reading someone else's. My main goal in life (besides being a good mom) is to publish my own novel and be my own boss.

Right now, I'm working full time as a baker, trying to start my own small business making resin bookmarks and accessories, and working with an editor on my first stand alone, adult fantasy, all while potty training.

It can get a little hectic, but I know it will all be worth it. My goal is to able to provide a happy, healthy life for my boy through my passions so he knows that even though it can and probably will be a lot of work, you don't need to compromise your happiness or give up on your dreams to be successful. 

I just launched my Etsy shop, Arrows and Altases, in December of 2020, and every item in my shop is handmade with love and VOC free, FDA approved epoxy resin. Silicone mixing tools and cups are used to reduce waste, and all my packaging is recycled or biodegradable. And I've decided to donate 10% all proceeds from the shop to various humanitarian, environmental, and conservation charities once a month.
