She was climbing the pyramids of Gizeh. Then she walked across the Great Wall. Or was she dancing in front of the Eiffel tower? Her vision blurred again and she found herself sitting on the Statue of Liberty. And when she jumped, she simply floated through the air. Higher and higher until she was in space. Below her, the earth was getting smaller and smaller until it was only a small dot in the darkness.
When she woke up her eyes fell on the photo of her parents. It was still standing on her bedside table. Thinking about them brought up images she rather wanted to forget. The call from the police, the almost unrecognizably demolished car. Losing them had left her kind of uprooted. She touched the frame and sighed. Maybe it was really time to get out of town and see the world. To look for the place she belonged to.

I hope you liked the second part of the story. In July I made some changes in my journal. I wanted it to be a bit more structured at the beginning of each month because I wanted to add some pages for notes. So I did a small register and I really love it 😍
