STL files available for the 3D Print Head for Bear MK3S : Orbiter V2 + Hotend Rapido

STL files are now available for the new 3D print head designed for the Bear MK3S by the Axhor FabLab using the LDO Orbiter V2 extruder with filament detection and the Hotend Phaetus Rapido.
The set was designed to be installed in place of the original print head.
A ring of 12 RGB Neopixel LEDs has been incorporated around the nozzle to be able to visualize the quality of prints.
Two versions of STL files are available, a standard version and a high quality version with many more triangles which makes the object smoother with less apparent facets.
At the Axhor FabLab we print these parts in resin (Phrozen Onyx Pro 410 Black) but FDM printing is still possible, but be careful with the brass inserts.
You will need 10 brass inserts M3 x 5.5 and 3 brass inserts M3 x 3 (model shown in photo).
We are working on adding a CAN module to simplify the wiring, in order to bring only 4 wires to the head, from the motherboard, instead of 22 currently.

Les fichiers STL sont désormais disponibles pour la nouvelle tête d'impression 3D conçue pour la Bear MK3S par le FabLab Axhor à partir de l'extrudeur LDO Orbiter V2 avec détection de filament et de la Hotend Phaetus Rapido.
L'ensemble a été étudié pour être installé en lieu et place de la tête d'impression d'origine.
Un anneau de 12 LEDs RVB Neopixel a été incorporer autour de la buse pour pouvoir visualiser la qualité des impressions.
Deux versions de fichiers STL sont disponibles, une version standard et une version haute qualité comportant beaucoup plus de triangles ce qui rend l’objet plus lisse avec moins de facette apparentes.
Au FabLab Axhor nous imprimons ces pièces en résine (Phrozen Onyx Pro 410 Black) mais l’impression FDM reste possible, prudence toutefois avec la mise en place des inserts laiton.

Nous travaillons à l’ajout d’un module CAN pour simplifier le câblage, afin de n’amener au niveau de la tête, depuis la carte mère, que 4 fils au lieu de 22 actuellement.
