As for “18 days”? Well it’s all about how we had to plan and then execute a “get in and get out” mission in November of 2020. We needed to get Banyan out of Belize and into Guatemala, while sea borders are closed, during the global pandemic that is COVID-19, in the year that is #wtf2020! What could possibly go wrong? Turns out quite a bit did. Turns out it’s quite a page turner!

The proceeds for the sale of this book are going to the group we belong to “Friends of Rio Dulce Guatemala,” they’re the hands and feet on the ground there right now, using donations from people like you and me, to help the Guatemalan communities that are still recovering from Hurricane Eta and Iota.
