Hello Friends,
sometimes short stories take the longest... time to write. It can go so many directions from one single sentence. It's like a maze. I had five versions of this written, before sitting down and started working on it. At the end I still managed to surprise myself by improvising the entire second half of it. I went from forced social commentary to focusing on the dynamic of the two characters, which is more important I think. I'm prone to wanting to say things that I perceive as important, but I almost always realize that it would come off preachy and and not being important at all.
Esther will appear in the main storyline, in the next chapter to be precise. This scene not related closely, but as I said before, a play on their dynamic. After this break I get back to continue chapter one. Hope to post new pages on the weekend!
