Life can be quite complex. The last lunation, which was in Virgo, showed us that is impossible to see or to understand all the particulars in most situations. Besides the awareness that only very few details of the big picture are within our reach, the motivation to untie some knots, those we have access to, may have arisen. I hope you were successful in doing it.
Far from delivering us the harmony and soft skills of Libra, the next New Moon arrives full of impulsiveness, anger and conflict. The environment is stormy and we can witness explosive relationships or radical cuts.
Libra
Libra is a cardinal Air sign, and it likes to initiate communication and social interaction. It's not always easy for the scales to take a stand or choose sides, because the last thing they want is to offend someone. At its best, this sign is interested in finding the middle path, and the “just measure” in all things.
Ruled by Venus, Libra values harmony and seeks to build bridges in order to unite what is separated. Beauty and elegance are privileged, but it’s important that this isn’t done at the expense of justice and fairness.
Mars conjunction in Libra
Although harmony and balance are two values dear to Libra, the influence of Mars greatly destabilizes the New Moon. This gruff and wrathful planet is in the very same degree as the luminaries, lending a strong tone of aggressiveness and reactivity to this lunation.
Mars doesn’t like to be in the Venus’ signs because it’s difficult for the warrior to brandish its sword in a setting of peace and symmetry. In Libra, the backdrop for the impatience and roughness of Mars are social relations, where you should use dialogue and diplomacy instead.
On the one hand, we may precipitate conciliations or unions, in a hurry to form alliances that seem convenient to us, but without fully understanding what is at stake or without embracing the total dimension of the commitment we are making. On the other hand, the sense of urgency can lead us to make abrupt cuts without considering the consequences for everyone involved.

Quincunx to Uranus in Taurus
Mars, Sun and Moon are looking sideways to the major destabilizer, Uranus. The planet of rebellion and unpredictability fires the already unstable warrior up.
We may be suddenly aware of an inner irritation and it becomes urgent to do something about it. The urge to move forward—whether forcing a relationship or making a cut with the status quo—comes like an unexpected, fulminating electrical shock.
Venus in Scorpio
If Mars is uncomfortable in the signs of Venus, the displeasure is mutual. Venus, ruler of this New Moon, is in Scorpio, the nocturnal territory of Mars, and its beauty takes on a dark and gothic mood.
Mars in Libra, at the service of Venus and Venus in Scorpio, at the service of Mars. What could work as mutual support or at least a “one hand washes the other” situation, becomes a vicious and compulsive cycle. The two lovers roam in each other's worlds, close but distant, in a wild and endless pursuit.
It's easy to get lost in desire and wanting. It's harder to understand what motivates us and what really makes us run. Maybe if we can stop and direct the chase inwards, maybe then we can find where inside of us this anger is coming from. If we accept that this rage within us has a reason and a purpose, we can then welcome it, appease it, and thus avoid further damage on the outside.
New Moon Synthesis
This Moon is intense, electric and aggressive. The environment becomes uncomfortable and we urgently need to resolve the irritation that is eating us inside. Anger is a healthy, defensive and protective emotion. It's a sign that we no longer tolerate a certain invasion, that it's time to say “no” to some situation or to someone.
What circumstances do I have to cut out because they no longer bring me peace? In what area of my life do I need to define and own my will, regardless of others' expectations? How can I deflect the attacks I'm being targeted? How can I use the momentum of my anger constructively?
The New Moon in Libra doesn’t come soft or peaceful. Stand up, protect yourself and become aware of what motivates you, what angers you and of the conflicts you have to face. Just don't be too quick, because the purpose is not to destroy everything around you, but to restore the peace and balance that you are lacking.
