My relationship with food is so important to me, and it hasn’t always been a good one. Good news-- For most people, general health benefits can be gained from even small increases in physical activity. Something is better than nothing, so you might as well find a type of exercise you enjoy.For substantial health benefits, aim for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, 5x a week, or accumulate up to 150 minutes a week. I see a lot of people hate on SMART goals, but I think it's a great method for beginners; the process forces you to 1) write your goals down, and 2) break down big goals and daily habits. Both are important skills no matter how you set goals.

Budget your time just like your money.Plan your non-negotiables first (class, practice, etc.)Then plan your higher priorities (sleep, exercise, homework, etc.)Fill in your schedule with other obligations (chores, club meetings, etc.)ENJOY your free time; all your priorities are covered.
