Hepatitus (A) Outbreak Is Being Investigated

May 31, 2022

Is there an outbreak of Hepatitus - A? Well, the FDA and other agencies are seeing if there's a link to hepatitus A in organic strawberries.

The outbreak is said to be in the U.S. and Canada potentially linked to organic strawberries. The FDA says that the strawberries were sold under the FRESHKAMPO and HEB brands purchased between [March 5th and April 25th].

Heb and FreshKampo were sold to a number of retailers including: Trader Joes, Kroger, Safeway, Walmart, Aldi, and HEB.

If you're not sure what brand of strawberries, when and where you purchased them, it's recommended that you throw it away but document in some way as evidence in case something happens.
