It's official now..... I have completed my Bachelor of Science, Cloud Computing degree from Western Governors University! Since I had already completed my Bachelor of Science, Information Technology degree from WGU, I was able to transfer in a majority of the courses leaving me with only 10 courses to complete. Overall, I had a lot of fun learning the concepts in this program. It was definitely a bonus to be provided the opportunity to achieve my AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate certification as part of the program. Getting into Python, Powershell, Chef (Cloud Automation), and Virtualization Technologies was certainly helpful, too.
So what is next for me? I certainly have some other certifications lined up to take, including the Microsoft AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator and the CompTIA Linux+ certifications. I want to focus on projects and building a portfolio of cloud-based work.
I did invest in the Personal Plus plan of A Cloud Guru but used the Student Discount to purchase the year subscription. I plan on using their videos and courses to further develop my cloud skills. I also got into CodeAcademy and started to learn more Python and Javascript.
