Callum's Prehistoric Journey

Mar 29, 2022

Hi! Guess who's back? It's me Callum, your favourite blog writing border collie.

You'll never guess where me and my human went!  We took a trip back to prehistoric times. Well not really, it just felt like we were there, because my human's computer broke.

Thankfully I have a very clever Uncle Dave who knew how to fix it.

My human had to wait for twelve days though because there was a lot of work that needed to be done on it. Did you know that in prehistoric times twelve days feels like twelve months?

My poor human felt lost without her computer.  Luckily she had me to play with when I wasn't napping. I even tried to help out by channeling my inner prehistoric self and becoming a beg-a-saurus-rex.
I roared my mighty roar and tried to get my human to give me all her food. I guess I didn't look or sound ferocious enough because it didn't work.

My human always shares her food with me though as long as it's good for me and won't cause me any harm.

Boy was my human ever happy to leave those prehistoric times when my Uncle Dave bought her back her fixed computer.

You see my human's computer is her connection to the world.
Without it she feels very lonely and she misses all her friends and I miss all my dear readers. Just know that you were all in mine and my human's heart and we sent out love to you all.

I'm crossing my paws and hoping nothing goes wrong with my humans computer for a very long time.

I would like to bark a special thank you to all my human's birdie and squirrel friends that come to visit every day.

They made the twelve long days more bearable for my human. She loves to
feed them.

Personally I would rather chase them but my human won't allow me to do that. She says I have to show respect to my fellow creatures.

And I would also like to bark out a special thank you to my Auntie Susan for calling my human on the phone every night to talk to her.

I don't like to be a bragging boy but I was a very good doggy when my Auntie Susan called, I didn't bark at all like I usually do when someone is talking on the phone.

I sure barked a lot when my Uncle Dave called though. I guess I still have to work on breaking that bad habit.

Well that's all my barks for now. It's so nice to be back to bark to you all. I hope you're all keeping cool and comfortable in this horrible hot and humid weather.

My doggy heart goes out to all the stray kitties and doggies, I sure hope they all find some place cool to escape the heat.

Maybe someday my doggy dream will come true and there won't be any stray homeless kitties or doggies.

Hopefully someday they will all have a loving forever home, just like I do.

Stay happy and healthy and I'll be back to bark to you soon.
