This time in three weeks

Jun 09, 2021

In three weeks, I'll hopefully be able to eat the large Toblerone I am planning on stashing into my suitcase.

Yep, I have my date for the surgery... Monday, 28th June 2021.

I've got to be in the hospital for 7:30am, not been out the house that early since the last surgery in 2019, and I am not allowed to eat anything past 2:30am the night before. God, I am going to be horrendously grumpy and that's before I've even navigated which way round the hospital gown goes.

People have asked if the date's dragging. Not yet, no. I've got something small but work related in the diary almost every day and then the other days I simply rest on the settee catching up on TV. It's not a bad life and I've got so much to look forward to...

  1. My other half making my food all day for at least a couple of months when I come home - he's already said 'I think they should keep you in longer this time'. Haaaaa.

  2. We're having our garden made over by BBCs Garden Rescue on 17/18 August. The producer said it currently looks like 'someone left in a hurry'. That's kind, it's a shithole!

  3. We were planning to move to the Hereford / Welsh border before this tumour came back so we've got that on our list for when I am better in 12 months.

  4. I'm having to rethink my WHOLE business model because this blighter is likely going to be around for a while and I have lots more treatment planned after the surgery, so my business needs less of me. If you'd like to be kept up to date with those plans then not only make sure we're connected on LinkedIn, but follow me too. It's very exciting.

Huge shout out to my latest donor, Jo White, the founder of We Love Pets. She is not only my friend but also the first one to believe in me, by being my first client back in 2015, when I started my business. If you've got pets go check out their website here > www.we-love-pets.co.uk

Anyway, how are you? If you hit reply to this email it comes straight to me. I'd love to know.

Much love

Catherine
