Celebrated on January 4th every year, this holiday is all about showcasing your general knowledge and impressing your family and friends with those obscure but still interesting facts and quotes that you've stored away in your brain.
Here's a cool fact about National Trivia Day: it was founded in 1980 by Robert Birch of Pun Corps, the company behind the beloved Trivial Pursuit board game.
To get you prepped for National Trivia Day, here are some interesting, useless, and obscure facts that you can memorize and wow everyone with:

On Friday, January 5th at 7pm, we have the unique alternative music show "The MeowMx" by Gothicat. Get ready to indulge in a tapestry of strange and unusual rock and metal music from amazing artists such as Electric Callboy, The Offspring, P!nk, and many more! Plus, don't forget to send in your song requests - we've got you covered.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 6th because Gothicat will be live and in the flesh at the SotonFurs Winter Party! This fantastic event is free to attend and starts at 1pm at Papillion, 61 Commercial Rd, Southampton SO15 1GG. From 8pm onwards, Gothicat and 3 other incredible DJs will keep the party going until the stroke of midnight. Expect to hear awesome music from Jonathan Young, Halocene, Little V., and a whole lot of alternative cover songs that will blow you away!
But that's not all! We have "Ulfer's Sunday Shenanigans" ready to kick off on the 7th at 9pm. This dynamic wolf with the unf, unts, and other words starting with U won't let us feel blue with their special breed of radio show. They'll be utilizing the best in interactive technology to bring you the best music from DJs From Mars, Gigi D'Agostino, My Chemical Romance, and more!
