We talk a lot about doing more and more live events now that we are moving to a post-pandemic world and the world has nearly fully re-opened. Of course the most difficult part aboutlive events is the cost; gas, airfare, accomodations...
Before gas prices rose to opressive rates, hotel rates had skyrocketed as so many hospitality providers were forced totry to recoup lost revenue incurred by the pandemic lockdowns. Now, gas is nearly $5 a gallon and in some parts of the country over $7! These rising costs make it nearly impossible for a content and programming provider like Back of the Cereal Box to go and appear at as many live events and uphold our mission to make sure no fan is left behind!
That means we've got to depend more on paid appearances, or seek out additional advertising sponsors to fund travel dates, However, loading up the show with paid ads may not be welcomed by our fans and viewers. The third option is support from listeners and viewers like you. Generous donations go a long way to making sure we can attend major live events and make sure there is No Fan Left Behind!
