Embracing Fears: Overcoming Self-limiting Beliefs

“Embracing Fears: Overcoming Self-limiting Beliefs” - talks about my personal journey in overcoming my fears of socialising. As someone who struggles with social anxiety, a big part was working on tackling the fear of interactions with unfamiliar people or acquaintances. This includes cultivating an awareness of my self-limiting beliefs and unhelpful thoughts which were previously not conscious to me (yet, inhibiting me in many ways). 

I have also covered how mindfulness helped me in my process of generating this awareness and confronting the uncomfortableness during social situations in the latest podcast [EP 18: Cultivating Mindfulness (Part 3): Overcoming Fears of Socialising]. Upon reflection, this season of my life has been all about taking steps to look into some of my pre-conditioned tendencies which are hindering my progress towards the person I want to become- one of which is overcoming my self-limiting beliefs.
