Hi! My name is Jenn Colby.  For more than 25 years, I’ve worked with livestock farmers and ranchers through for-profit, non-profit, Extension, and academic settings. I’ve taught students of all ages, brought farmers together for pasture walks and conferences, and spent lots of time standing by the truck having a good chat afterward. 

I want farmers and ranchers to run successful, profitable businesses protecting and enhancing natural resources. These goals are mutually inclusive. That said, they’re not easy, and it doesn’t happen overnight. For first-and-returning-generation farmers and ranchers, there’s an even different set of circumstances and challenges to work with.

I want to share what these farmers and ranchers tell me--with you--to help make your life easier, and the see healthy ag businesses inside abundant ecosystems become a reality in more places.
