About Me

Since you are here, let me tell you something more about me...

1. I am from Taiwan, a beautiful island with diversity of culture.

2. My long term goal is to create an Internet product that provide values to the world. Because through Internet, I believe people can make large changes even if they are small.

3. My mid term goal is to make it to the FANG level company in the Silicon Valley. So that I can learn from the best and see how they make their product at the highest level.

4. Right now, I woke up early every day to study 1.5hrs and workout 1hr before work. So that I can reach my mid term gaol. I believe through my daily action I will be one step closer to my gaol everyday.

Books

I highly recommend two books.

1. Great at Work: How Top Performers Work Less and Achieve More (Morten Hansen)

This books tells me very specific way to work less and achieve more. So that I can have more time to do the things I like.

2. Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable (Tim S. Grover)

This books teaches me how to think, what's the mindset it takes to "WIN" and the mindset will change the way I act.

Zen

At last, I wanted to share some words with you.

This is a Python coding style guide. But I found it very inspiring and can be apply to every aspect of my life.

Beautiful is better than ugly.

Explicit is better than implicit.

Simple is better than complex.

Complex is better than complicated.

Flat is better than nested.

Sparse is better than dense.

Readability counts.

Special cases aren't special enough to break the rules.

Although practicality beats purity.

Errors should never pass silently.

Unless explicitly silenced.

In the face of ambiguity, refuse the temptation to guess.

There should be one-- and preferably only one --obvious way to do it.

Although that way may not be obvious at first unless you're Dutch.

Now is better than never.

Although never is often better than *right* now.

If the implementation is hard to explain, it's a bad idea.

If the implementation is easy to explain, it may be a good idea.

Namespaces are one honking great idea -- let's do more of those!
