Covid Paintings- What do you see?

Covid Paintings- What do you see?

Nov 23, 2020

My paintings tend to be abstract expressionist. Each painting is a unique reflection of a moment. I don't always know what that reflection is. Sometimes I look at a collection of them together and I start to recognize patterns and themes, then I start making connections between what was going on for me and what I put on the canvas.

I've completed 4 acrylic paintings since the pandemic started March. I'm still figuring out what I'm seeing in them.

I've posted them below in the order they were painted. Starting in March and ending in November.

What do you see?

"covid-19 flying" acrylic on 16x20 canvas. March 15, 2020.

"Love and carry". Acrylic painting on 16x20 canvas. June 22, 2020.

Untitled. Acrylic on 16x20 canvas. September 14, 2020.

Untitled. Acrylic on 24 x 24 canvas. November 22, 2020.
