Congratulations to Charlotte Lister, the winner of Ms Diamond UK 2021.
Here is our interview with her:
1. What is the latest competition and the title you received?
After being a finalist in the Ms Diamond U.K. competition I finally took the stage and took home the crown ! So I'm currently the reigning Ms Diamond U.K. and I'll be competing in Ms Regency International next year!
2. How will you use your crown to be an inspiration to others?
I'm continuing to fundraise for the Samaritans which is a mental health charity in the U.K. to date I've raised over £1800 but I'm also fundraising for Coppafeel which a breast cancer charity.
I'm also going to continue with Crowns & Sashes to share pageant journeys across the world and volunteer at my local children's hospice to develop my pageant platform of Cancer Awareness and End life care.
3. During this pandemic, what is your greatest lesson?
Don't give up! Trying to keep motivated during my 2 1/2 year regional reign wasn't easy but it was so worth it not just because I won but because of everything I achieved from raising over £1800 for Samaritans which is a mental health charity in the U.K. to sharing Pageant stories from across the world.
4. So far, what are the charitable activities that you are engaged in?
Crowns and Sashes which is my pageant project is still raising money for the Samaritans but is now also raising money for Coppafeel which is a breast cancer charity. I have also signed up for a Firewalk to raise money for my local NHS hospital.
5. Please give us tips or ways on how to be happy in life.
Don't compare yourself to others and be your true self.
